Q: How far from completion is this game?
A: VERY far. 
   This is just a test version of the current game engine. Don't expect any
   gameplay. It's just to give you an idea of how things MIGHT look sometime.

Q: Hey. It looks great, but i lacks gameplay.
A: Read #1 above. ;)

Q: Under which license is this thing distributed?
A: The current test engine of The Guild is distributed under the
   GNU General Public Licence. Refer to the file 'COPYING' in the guild's
   distribution archive.

Q: Hey, we'd like to include The Guild beta-engine on a commercial CD! Do
   you give us the permission?
A: SURE! If you meet the conditions mentioned in the file 'COPYING' in the
   guild's source dist archive, there should be no problems!

Q: Do you plan to only release this for x86 Linux?
A: A BeOS and Win32 port is now available. MacOS will follow soon.

Q: Do I need a 3DFX Board to run this?
A: No. This is NO 3D Shooter. It's a first persion adventure game with 3D
   rendered PICTURES and ANIMATIONS. It's like DS9: Harbinger, if you know
   this.

Q: Is this a Doom/Quake like action shooter?
A: No. Read #6.

Q: Hi. I've never heard of institutions like 'The Guild', but I'am wondering
   if I yould work for you. What skills do I need to have?
   Smuggling/Fighting/Drug Dealing?
A: Turn of your computer, put some money in your pocket, get out of your
   house, get into town and be a part of allday's life. You know what
   'reality' is? ;)

Q: Why can I use X fullscreen only as root ?
A: The XF86-DGA extension needs root access for memory mapping.

Q: What can I do to get faster animations ?
A: Set a different mode in theguild.rc. interlaced mode is pretty good under X.

11.
Q: Which svgalib modes are o.k. ?
A: The current version hast autodetection. If that does not work,
   specify a modenumer for 640x480x64k or 32k colors.
