BeBytes is the spiritual successor to BeBits, the old BeOS software distribution site that is long gone.
BeBytes was created due to the unquenched desire for a place where legacy BeOS software can be accessed and archived, and not forgotten to the winds of time.
The main goal of BeBytes is to be a historical archive of the BeOS and its software.
